The law firm Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS has built a good culture for how they execute their projects. Now, as they launch Appraisal Manager from CatalystOne as online support for their performance appraisals.
IT Manager Ole Kristian Dommerud tells that he is very satisfied with the implementation process. “CatalystOne delivered absolutely top notch!”
“We had cumbersome, manual routines for our performance appraisals,” says HR consultant Anne Therese Bogen at the law firm Thommessen AS. “It gave poor continuity and was difficult to follow up.
When we chose tools from CatalystOne in the fall of 2013 to strengthen our internal processes, it was because we quickly saw that the Appraisal Manager covered our needs and had the quality we expect.”
Effective and systematic implementation of their annual performance appraisal demanded better IT support and Thommessen AS had clear requests and requirements for what they wanted:
Ease of use for both managers and employees
– Option for HR to monitor the process and generate reports
– Easy to change and update evaluation criteria and adapt content
Smooth implementation process
Thommessen AS expected to start using the tool already in November 2013. The IT Manager says that they have had productive and close contact with the consultants at CatalystOne throughout. “It was a very smooth implementation process, where everything was delivered in line with a detailed plan. The cost, quality and delivery were all as promised, and in cases like this, it’s a pleasure to be the IT Manager,” says Dommerud.
After the painless implementation process, about 100 of the company’s lawyers started using the tool last fall. HR consultant Anne Therese Bogen says that staff have experienced the tool as very easy and intuitive to use, and now the rest of the company’s 190 employees will be introduced to the solution. Bogen has high expectations for increased efficiency and agility in the company’s HR processes. “We are looking forward to a simpler and more systematic process, with easier access to historical data,” she says.
