«The expertise and knowledge in EMGS is our most valuable asset»
Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) wanted a simple way to search and find knowledge across the organization and has therefore implemented the Competence Mapping solution from CatalystOne. EMGS has recently put in place its platform for employee development – COMPASS. The platform also based on a online solution from CatalystOne Solutions – for easy and targeted interaction between managers and employees around personal development, performance measures etc. – is now in place.
EMGS want to ensure high utilization of competent employees across the organization, and has therefore extended with the solution Competence Mapping from CatalystOne. This is a skills register where leaders in EMGS can search for education, skills, project experience etc. and produce CV’s to use for partners, customers, prospects etc.
Even Selnæs, VP HR in EMGS says: «The knowledge in EMGS is our most valuable asset. Skills, experience, and «know-how» – all set the premises for the possibilities and limitations for what we want to achieve. As we develop our business for the future, it is important for us to have a structured approach to the competencies and capabilities we have today that allows us to reach future goals and identify skills gaps. This will enable us to develop the competencies we lack or need to develop further.
To be able to take such a unified and structured approach to our knowledge, we chose to implement Competence Mapping from CatalystOne
