Aker Solutions is currently upgrading its ‘Performance Management’ process. In this connection, the company recently signed an agreement for the acquisition of CatalystOne’s specialized software suite within Talent and Performance Management. Implementation of the solution is well underway and the first parts of the suite will be in use through the course of Q1, 2010.
“To facilitate improved individual performance is continuous work. We escalated to a new level which requires a common ‘Performance Management’ process throughout the company and a more dynamic dialogue between the manager and the employee in everyday life, “says Kjeld Stub, Vice President Corporate Human Resources at Aker Solutions.
“In connection with the upgrade of the process, we decided also to introduce a new generation of IT tools, where user-friendliness and flexibility is strongly emphasized. After an extensive evaluation of several global players, CatalystOne was our final choice “, says project manager Anja Cecilia Kopperud in Aker Solutions.
The solution includes monitoring business objectives, personal development and evaluation of performance and behavior. 360-degree feedback, ‘Succession Planning’ and ‘Compensation Management’ will also be put in place.
